3 c. sifted flour
1 c. lard or shortening
1/2 t. salt
1 egg
5 T. water
1 t. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, shortening or lard and salt. Beat egg, add water and vinegar. Add to flour to mixture. Press together just until dough holds together. It will bond when rolled out. Do not over work the dough to or it will get tough. Makes two 9 inch double crust pies.
