1-2 lb. hamburger
2 quarts water
T. salt
t. pepper
2 T. minced parsley
c. barley
c. chopped onion
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, slice thinly
1 small potato, diced

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger in small amount of water. Add the 2 quarts water, salt, pepper, parsley, and barley. Cover and cook for an hour. Add onion, carrots, celery and potato. Simmer 30-45 minutes longer.
