1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Beat eggs and add them to the mixture. Mix thoroughly . Dissolve soda in vinegar and add. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to mixture. Roll 1/8" thick. Bake 350º on ungreased cookie sheet 12-15 mi.
