Honey Mustard Garlic Salmon Recipe

2 12oz. salmon fillets, cut into 2-3 strips
salt & pepper
¼ c. honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. whole-grain mustard
1 T. soy sauce
1 t. apple cider vinegar
1 T. olive oil
1 T. hot sauce of your choice (Tabasco, Siracha, etc.)
½ t. red pepper flakes
1 T. cilantro, chopped
1 lime, sliced into wedges
cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Season salmon with salt and pepper. Set aside. In a bowl, combine honey, mustard, hot sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine. Place salmon into a glass baking dish and pour the honey, mustard mixture over it. Turning to coat all sides. Put plastic wrap or a lid on the dish and place in refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours or more. Turning and coating several times. Heat olive oil in a oven-proof skillet and fry the salmon on one side until half done. Flip salmon and add minced garlic into the skillet and cook until slightly browned. Add honey mixture and lime slices, into the skillet, reduce the sauce until sticky. Finish off by broiling the salmon in oven for 1 minute, until the surface becomes slightly charred. Serve over rice with more sauce and a sprinkling of chopped cilantro.
