9 cups sifted flour
4 tsp cream of tartar

3 cups sugar
3 cups margarine
3 tsp baking soda
1 + 1/2 tsp salt
6 eggs
3 tsp vanilla (to change flavor, I used half Lemon extract half vanilla + these were very good).

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar + margarine and than add eggs one by one and mix well. Sift all dry ingredients together and mix in with vanilla. You almost have to use your hands at the last. Than roll dough I to balls and press down on increased baking sheet with a glass that has been greased on the bottom + dip In sugar. Glass only has to be greased once.

Bake @ 375 F. For 10-12 minutes.
