12 sliced medium carrots
1/4 cup margarine
1 small onion (minced)
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
2 cups milk
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp celery salt
1/2 pound American pro eases cheese, sliced
3 cups buttered bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots, and drain. Cook onion for 2-3 minutes in margarine. Stir in flour, salt, mustard, then milk. Cook, stirring until smooth. Add pepper, celery + salt.
In a 2 quart casserole, arrange a layer of carrots, then cheese. Repeat until both are used ending with carrots. Pour on sauce. Top with crumbs.
Bake uncovered at 350 F. for about 25 minutes or until crumbs are golden.
Serves eight.
