1 large carrot
3 to 4 stalks celery
1 onion
1 cup barley-soak/wash it
Fresh mushrooms- a few types, but not white mushrooms
Salt
Black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Slice mushrooms and put into a bowl of water
Soak barley
Cut up other vegetables
Saute onion in oil
Fill pot with water
Add vegetables, mushrooms with water, and spices
Cover pot
Let cook up, make sure to mix. If too thick, add water.
