1 Cup Butter, creamed
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Cloves
3 Eggs
1 tsp. Soda, dissolved in 2 T hot water
3 Cups Flour
1 lb. Pecans, broken
Black Walnuts, any amount
1 lb. Dates, cut in pieces
1/2 Cup Red Cherries, candied
1/2 Cup Green Cherries, candied
1/2 Cup Pineapple
Pinch of Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Drop by teaspoons full on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until desired brownness, or about 12 to 15 minutes. Not necessary to re-grease pans when using more than once.
