2 c all purpose flour
2 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 c butter
1 c water
1/2 c buttermilk
2 large eggs lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
16 oz (1 1/2 c) peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla


Icing
1/2 c butter
1/3 c buttermilk
1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
16 oz confectioners sugar (sifted)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 Grease and flour 9"x13" pan. Whisk together flour, sugar and baking soda in large bowl, set aside. Place butter in medium saucepan. Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cocoa, water, buttermilk and eggs. Continue cooking over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture boils. Remove from heat and add flour mixture. Stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth evenly. Bake 20-25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes then spread peanut butter over cake and allow to cool completely. To make icing place confectioners sugar in large bowl. Set aside.Combine butter, buttermilk, and cocoa in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat and pour over confectioners sugar. Stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread icing over peanut butter. Allow cake to sit at room temperature for icing to set.
