5 pounds red potatoes cut up 3 cloves garlic salt and pepper 1 t chicken bullion granules 1 C water (or chicken stock) 8 T butter cut up 1/3 C sour cream 1/2 C milk
Peel and cut potatoes (or don't if you want skin), salt and pepper them, add the garlic, warm water with chicken bullion dissolved and 4 T of butter cut up and place randomly over potatoes. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours. Add milk, remaining butter and sour cream and mix.
