Cordon Bleu Casserole Recipe

3 c. cooked ham, cubed
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. chopped 'onion
c. margarine
⅓ c. flour
1 tsp. dill
⅛ tsp. nutmeg
2 c. light cream or milk
⅛ tsp. dry mustard
4 c. turkey or chicken, cooked & cubed

1 c. dry bread crumbs
c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted

In a large bowl, combine meats and cheese. Set aside. Saute' onions in margarine in a medium saucepan until onions are tender. Add flour; stir to form a paste. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil for 1 minute until it thickens. Add dill, mustard and nutmeg. Mix well. Remove from heat and pour over meat mixture. Stir. Spoon into a greased 9"x13" baking dish. Make topping: in a medium bowl, add margarine and dill to bread crumbs and toss and then stir in cheese. Sprinkle topping over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350" for 30 minutes, or until casserole is heated through. Yield: 8-10 servings.
