Mama's Zucchini Tomato Casserole Recipe

1/4 cup oil
1 clove of garlic
4 medium Zucchini cut in to 1/4 inch slices
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp basil
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup parmesan grated cheese
4 medium tomatoes peeled and sliced
salt and pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 Tbsp melted butter

Preheat oven to 350
Heat oil in skillet and add garlic, cooking 5-6 minutes
Remove garlic and discard (?)
Saute the zucchini in the oil
Combine the spices and cheeses in a bowl
Place alternate layers of the tomatoes and zucchini in a buttered 1 and 1/2 quart casserole, sprinkling with the cheese mixture and salt/pepper each time.
Combine bread crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake uncovered about 20-25 minutes (crumb top should be browned)
