1 cup brown sugar ... 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp.vanilla ... 1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups pecans/walnuts, kept halved

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars and sour cream; cook to soft-ball stage, 236. Add vanilla, beat until mixture begins to thicken. Add nuts, stir till well coated. Turn our on greased platter or wax paper and separate in individual pieces. Keep in airtight container.

Janice would always sell pecans for the bank she worked at. This is one of the recipes we would always make for Christmastime.
