2 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
3 qts sliced unpeeled cucumbers
1 large onion
3/4 to 1 cup fresh dill
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan combine sugar, vinegar, water, and salt. Bring to boil 1 minute. In large non metallic container, combine cucumbers, onions and dill. Pour dressing over, cool - cover- refrigerate 3 days. Stir occasionally.
