Ingredients:  
5 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
2 cups shortening
1 egg plus water to make 1 cup

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour, salt, and sugar until resembles peas. Beat egg into a measuring cup, add water to make 1 cup. Add to flour mixture tossing with fork until all flour is moistened and pastry almost cleans side of bowl.

Makes 5 - 9 inch crusts.
