2 cups boiling water
2 cups potatoes chopped
1/2 cup carrots sliced
1/4 cup onion chopped
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup butter
1/4/ cup flour
2 cups milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup ham chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Add vegetables to boiling water. Add salt and pepper. Simmer 20 minutes or until tender. Set aside. DO NOT DRAIN! Make a white sauce with butter, flour, and milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Simmer and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add cheese, stir until melted, add ham stir. Add cream mixture to vegetables and water. Heat but don't boil.
