3 STICKS MELTED BUTTER
1/2 CUP MOLASSES
2 CUPS SUGAR
2 EGGS
4 CUPS FLOUR
2 TEASPOONS CINNAMON
1 TEASPOON GROUND GINGER
1 TEASPOON GROUND CLOVES
4 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA

BEAT TOGETHER BUTTER, MOLASSES, SUGAR & EGGS
COMBINE REMAINING DRY INGREDIENTS IN SEPARATE BOWL. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS GRADUALLY TO BUTTER/SUGAR MIXTURE. CHILL DOUGH FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS.

ROLL DOUGH INTO 2" BALLS. THEN ROLL THEM IN SUGAR.

SPACE COOKIES 2" APART ON COOKIE SHEET, (THEY WILL SPREAD).

BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 8-10 MINUTES. DO NOT COOK FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES. THEY WILL LOOK UNDER DONE.

COOL ON COOKIE SHEETS BEFORE SERVING.
