1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger root
1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in in 1/4 c. hot water
2 3/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, honey, nad molasses. Add spices and mix well. Add baking soda and water nad mix well. Stir in flour and blend till smooth. Chill dough. roll out on lightly floured surface until 3/4 in. thick.Add more flour if needed. Cut into shapes and place on greased cookie sheets
Bake at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes be careful not to overcook.
