• 1 tablespoon butter
• ½ medium yellow onion, chopped
• 4 eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 cup half-and-half
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• 1½ cups diced ham
• 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 frozen pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Melt butter in a small nonstick pan and cook onion until soft. Let cool slightly.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, salt and pepper.
4. Stir in ham and both cheeses. (I like to leave a small handful of cheese to sprinkle on top.)
5. Pour filling into pie crust, set on a baking sheet and place in oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until set.
6. Serve warm or chilled.
