Pumpkin-Ginger Scones Recipe

1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
4 + 1 T butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup pumpkin
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp ginger

Preheat oven to 425.
Combine sugar, flour, powder, cinnamon, soda and salt in a large bowl.
Cut in 4 T butter. Beat egg, add pumpkin, sour cream and ginger. Mix well.
Add to flour mixture. Mix well. Knead 10 times.
Roll out and cut.
Melt rest of butter and brush over.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon
Bake 12 minutes.
