1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Then add to wet ingredients and stir well. Add chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
