1 egg
1/2 C milk
1/2 fine dry breadcrumbs
1 tsp. EACH salt and sugar
1/4 tsp. EACH ground ginger, nutmeg and allspice
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 C finely chopped onion
4 Tbl. butter or margerine
1/4 C flour
2 C milk
1 C sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In medium-sized bowl, beat the egg with 1/2 milk. Blend in the bread crumbs, salt, sugar, and spices. Thoroughly mix in the ground meats and onion. Shape into meatballs about the size of walnuts. Place the meatballs on a cookie sheet and broil until lightly browned. Put into a freezer bag and freeze.

When thawed, add the flour to 4 Tbl. melted butter in a large skillet. Stir until bubbly and gradually add the milk, cooking over medium high until thick and smooth. Add the meatballs to the pan, cover and simmer 15 min. Add 1 C sour cream and heat through just before serving.
