3- 20 ounce cans Apple pie filling
1-15 ounce butter yellow cake mix
4 oz butter stick- cold
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º . Empty pie filling into rectangle baking dish. Dump cake mix on top of pie filling . Level off evenly. Using a peeler shave strips of butter (cold ) and cover the cake mix surface. Place cake in a 400º oven for about 45 minutes, or until golden. Allow cake to rest for 30 minutes, until the surface of the cake hardens.
