Ingredients:
¾ c. of sugar
1 c. of juice after cooking apples

Directions:
Directions:
Cook apples in enough water to cover and cook until done. Strain through cheese cloth. Put juice in a large soup kettle, no more then 3 or 4 cups of juice per batch. Start juice boiling fast then add sugar and boil for only about 5 minutes or until jelly starts flowing from spoon in sheets instead of drops. To test, put a teaspoon of juice in cold dish and refrigerate and see if its thickening. Then skim off foam (use on toast). Pour hot mixture into hot jars. Melt paraffin wax in tin can and pour a thin layer on jelly. Let cool.
