1 box ziti noodles (16 oz.)
3 regular sized bottles of chunky garden style spaghetti sauce
1 medium sized onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. hot Italian sausage
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
2 packages Italian blend shredded cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

Brown sausage with onion and garlic; drain fat (if necessary). Measure 1 C spaghetti sauce, set aside. Add remaining spaghetti sauce to sausage, onion and garlic.

Boil pasta for 8 minutes only (pasta will be slightly undercooked). Retain 1 C pasta water.

In a large bowl, combine sausage/sauce mixture with the pasta. Add 1 C of the pasta water to mixture and mix.

In a large 9x13 baking dish, pour 1/2 of the pasta/spaghetti sauce mixture. Spread 1 package of cheese on top. Layer with remainder of the pasta/spaghetti sauce mixture. Cover the entire mixture with the second package of cheese.

Garnish the top with the spaghetti sauce previously set aside.

Bake or 30 minutes at 350º or until cheese is melted.
