c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 mashed bananas
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
tsp. salt
c. buttermilk (can make buttermilk with white vinegar and milk)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, thoroughly. Blind in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Add nuts. Bakin in greased and floured loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch or two smaller sz. loaf pans. Bake at 325 for 1 hour 15 mins. in large loaf pan, 45 mins in smaller pans
