2 lb small white navy beans
1 lb bacon ends
2-4 medium onions chopped fine
2 Tbsp salt
1 cup molasses
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp dry mustard
2 cups of reserved liquid, use water if necessary to make up difference

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse beans, remove any bad beans, cover and soak overnight. In the morning, pour out the water, using fresh water cover beans in a pan. Cook slowly until a few beans on a spoon split or skins burst when blown on. Drain beans and save the liquid. Put some bacon and onions in the bottom of the bean pot, add 1/3 of the beans and repeat until the pot is full saving a little bacon for the top. Mix salt, molasses, mustard, brown sugar, and 2 cups of the reserved water in a saucepan. Heat to boiling point. Pour over beans, add a little more water, if necessary to cover beans. Cover bean pot, bake at 205 degrees for 6 to 7 hours adding more water if needed to keep beans moist.
