2 cups milk
2 cups flour
2 T sugar
1 pkg yeast

1 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/4 cup oil

Toppings:
Can of cherry pie filling
Vanilla icing and peanut butter
Canned peaches (thicken the juice)
Raisins simmered in water. Add cornstarch to thicken

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Scald the milk, then cool. Add flour, 2 T sugar and yeast. Mix well.

Best together 1 cup sugar, salt, eggs and oil. Add this to the flour mixture and add flour as needed to make a soft dough.

Let rise until double.
Punch down. Divide into 3 lumps. Roll each out into a jelly roll pan. Let rise again.

Place toppings on, then bake for 20 minutes.

This recipe is the one Grandma Bachmann made that was heavenly. She always had some ready to serve when we arrived.
