1 box yellow cake mix
2 T oil
2-8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup milk
3 T lemon juice
3 T vanilla
Cherry pie filling, optional

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Reserving 1 cup of cake mix, combine the rest in a large bowl with 1 egg and the oil. The mixture will be crumbly. Press mixture into bottom of a 9 x 13" pan.

Blend cream cheese and sugar. Add the 3 eggs, reserved cake mix and the remaining ingredients; mix at medium speed until smooth.
Pour into crust and bake for 45-50 minutes. Top with cherry pie filling, if desired.

Freezes well.
