Ingredients:  
1 can crushed pineapple ... 1 sm. box of strawberry jello
8 oz. cottage cheese ... 12 oz. thawed Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Drain about 1/2 of the pineapple juice. Combine pineapple and jello in saucepan till jello is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. When cooled, pour into serving bowl and add the cottage cheese and Cool Whip. Mix completely, refrigerate and allow to chill & set.

This is a yummy salad but it is a sweeter salad. Got this recipe from my mother-in-law and I always make it for special family times. Can use any flavor of jello you would like to give a try - I have made it with cherry jello and it was super too!
