Ingredients:
This recipe makes a large batch.
5 c. flour (All whole wheat or a mixture of brown rice and wheat. I also like to add 1 cup of white to make them very light.)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 T. brown sugar (You can leave this out if you want to)
Mix together

Then mix together wet ingredients

2 quarts buttermilk
3 or 4 eggs
3 T.. oil
You can add a little vanilla or butterscotch flavoring or both.
Pour wet into dry and mix with a whisk slowly so you don't stir out the bubbles. You don't want to beat it until it is completely smooth.
