3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 6 ingredients together and let it stand 15 minutes to let the sugar liquify. Then add the remainder. Bake 350º until browned or crunchy, caramelized.
