4 pork chops
1 tbsp. cooking oil
Black pepper, to taste
1 small onion, sliced in rings
1 can cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic
¾ c. water
½ c. dry white wine
¾ c. long grain rice
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp. dried thyme

Directions:
Directions:
In a 12 inch skillet, cook chops until browned; season with salt and pepper and remove to plate.
Cook onion in reserved drippings until tender.
In a large bowl, combing cream of mushroom, water and wine; stir in uncooked rice, Worcestershire sauce and thyme.
Put in 9x13 pan, top with chops and spoon cooked onions over top.
Bake covered at 375º for 35-40 min. (one hour for thicker chops).
