¾ CUP ALL PURPOSE BAKING MIX
2 CUPS SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE
¼ FINELY CHOPPED ONION
¼ SEEDED AND FINELY CHOPPED FRESH JALAPENO PEPPERS
1 LARGE CLOVE GARLIC MINCED
½ TSP CHILI POWDER

COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL AND MIX LIGHTLY BUT THOROUGHLY UNTIL COMBINED. FORM INTO 1 INCH BALLS. PLACE HALF OF SAUSAGE BALLS IN A LARGE SKILLET OVER MED LOWHEAT. COOK TURNING FREQUENTLY 15 TO 17 MIN. OR UNTIL CENTERS READ 160º REMOVE FROM PAN AND KEEP WARM WHILE YOU COOK THE REMAINING SAUSAGE BALLS. I SOMETIMES BAKE THEM @ 375º FOR APPROX. 14 TO 17 MIN. WHEN INTERNAL TEMP READS 160º LESS MESSY. SERVE WITH TOOTHPICKS.
