1 PKG JOHNSONVILLE BROWN SUGAR BREAKFAST SAUSAGE LINKS
6 ENGLISH MUFFINS CUT INTO 1 IN. CUBES
¼ BUTTER MELTED
1 PKG 4 MEXICAN CHEESE SHREDDED (8 OZ.)
½ CHOPPED ONION
½ CHOPPED RED PEPPER
12 EGGS
2 CUPS MILK
½ TSP SALT
½ TSP PEPPER
¼ BACON BITS

COOK SAUSAGE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS, COOL SLIGHTLY; CUT INTO ¼ INCH SLICES. PLACE ENGLISH MUFFINS IN A 13 IN. X 9 IN. BAKING DISH; DIZZLE WITH BUTTER. LAYER WITH SAUSAGE, CHEESE, ONION AND RED PEPPER. IN LARGE BOWL COMBINE EGGS, MILK AND SALT AND PEPPER. POUR OVER CHEESE, COVER AND REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT. REMOVE FROM REFRIGERATOR 30 MIN. BEFORE BAKING. UNCOVER AND BAKE @ 350º FOR 45 TO 50 MIN. , OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED INTO THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. LET STAND 5 MIN. CUT TO SERVE.
