1 lb. tomatillos (10-12 medium)
1 can green chiles (12 oz) or 2 - 3 jalapenos
4 large garlic cloves
1 ½ tsp oil
3 ½ c. chicken broth
4 c. cooked chicken (preferably rotisserie, about 2 whole chickens)
⅔ c. fresh cilantro

Wash and remove husks from tomatillos. Place in baking pan (one with sides as juice may come out) and broil 5 minutes each side. Blend in blender with juices. Add chili and garlic, blend till pureed. Heat oil over medium heat. Add puree. Cook about 5 minutes, till thick. Add 2 cups of broth. Simmer about 10 minutes. Season with salt (about 2 tsp). Add rest of broth. Stir in chicken and snipped cilantro.
