1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 can pie filling
1 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Sift dry ingredients together and add milk gradually to make batter.
Melt butter in baking dish until sizzling hot and pour into batter. Add the pie filling but do not stir. May add brown sugar and 1/2 tsp each of the spices here.
Bake for 30 minutes.
The fruit is dumped into the batter and, as the pie bakes, the batter rises around the fruit in folds.
