2 egg whites
1/8 tspn cream of tartar
3/4 cup chocolate bits
Vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 pkg. walnuts
3 Tbspns hot water
1/2 pint whipped heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Beat egg whites stiff. Sift sugar and cream of tartar together.
Add sugar and cream of tartar to egg whites.
Slowly add sugar and cream of tartar beating continuously.
Line bottom of well greased pie plate, hollow out center and spread up on sides, on on rim.
Sprinkle crust with broken walnuts before baking.
Bake 275º for 1 hr. When cooled, add chocolate filling.

Filling: Combine melted chocolate bits and hot water.
Add vanilla and allow to cool slightly.
Fold in whipped heavy cream.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
