1 c. boiling water
1 c. Bran Buds
1 c. sugar
c. butter
2 eggs
1 Pt. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
2 c. Bran flakes
2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water and bran buds in small bowl. Set aside to soak and cool. In large bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add buttermilk. Mix. Add flour and soda and salt. Mix well. Mix in the bran flakes. Finally, carefully mix in the bran bud mixture breaking up any clumps. Fill lined muffin cups ⅔ full and bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. Can store unused batter covered in refrigerator for up to 30 days.
