CAKE:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
¼ c. cocoa
1 c. water
½ c. buttermilk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

ICING:
½ c. butter
6 Tbsp milk
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ c. cocoa
3½ cups sifted (1 lb.) powdered sugar

CAKE:
Sift flour and sugar in large bowl. Set aside. In a medium sauce pan, combine butter, cocoa and water. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Pour over flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Add milk, eggs, soda and vanilla and mix well. Pour into greased sheetcake/jelly roll pan. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes.

ICING:
Prepare 5 minutes before cake is done. Combine butter, cocoa and milk in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Stir in vanilla and powdered sugar. Spread while cake and Icing are hot.
