2 1/2 c flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 t baking powder
1 1/2 t salt
3/4 t cinnamon
1/2 t cloves
1/2 t allspice
1/2 c shortening
-- water
1 c. raisins
1 egg
1 1/2 c applesauce

Mix it all up,

Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes.
