1 quart beef bouillon
1 lb. 2 oz. lentils, cooked
salt and pepper, to taste
6 tbsps. tomato puree
3 oz. onions, finely chopped
¼ cup carrots, finely chopped
½ rib celery, finely chopped
½ garlic clove, mined
1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine bouillon, lentils, salt and pepper in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients, except vinegar. Return mixture to boil; reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. Divide into 3 soup bowls, stir 1 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice in each bowl of soup as it is served. 3 servings.
