2 cups fresh Basil (packed)
8 oz linguine
3 Tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon red jalapeno, minced
½ cup dry white wine
1 Tablespoon butter
12 - 16 Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 slender asparagus, trimmed
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
2 lemons

Cook Pasta al dente, drain
Saute garlic and jalapeno in olive oil 1 -2 minutes
Add wine and butter, simmer 2-3 minutes
Add shrimp, asparagus, lemon juice - Toss until asparagus is tender, shrimp is opaque in center .
Add cooked pasta and basil, toss 1-2 minutes until basil wilts
Season with salt and pepper
Serve with Basil leaf garnish, lemon wedges, and shaved Parmesan
