½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
1-½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2-¾ cup flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt

Cinnamon/sugar mixture:
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
2. Cream together butter, shortening, sugar, and eggs.
3. Add flour, cream of tarter, baking soda, and salt and mix.
4. Shape by rounded teaspoons into balls.
5. Roll each ball in the cinnamon/sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet (4 rows of 3 balls evenly spaced)
6. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes. Don't overcook! Cookies will be soft until they set.
7. Let cool for 15 min. then transfer cookies from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
