1 # marshmallows (or 7 oz. cream)
1 c. sugar
1 can condensed milk
1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 box graham crackers, crushed
1 # pecans, chopped
1 # raisins
1 # coconut
candied cherries, opt.

Directions:

Grease aluminum foil and line 2 loaf pans. Mix milk, sugar & marshmallows in a double boiler until melted. (or microwave) In a large bowl, mix wafersicky. If it's too dry, you can add a small amount of evaporated milk. Firmly press into pans. Refrigerate. This also freezes well. Slice & enjoy!

I got this recipe from Kathy Waldroff years ago. It was a family recipe of the Waldroffs'. It's expensive to make, so needless to say I didn't make it very often in LA...mostly for Christmas. I don't like fruit cake, but I LOVE this one!
