½ c. brown sugar, firmly packed
6 Granny Smith apples
1 Tbsp. flour
¼ tsp. cinnamon
fruit fresh
2 refrigerated pie crusts

Directions:
Directions:
Peel & cup apples into small pieces. Lightly sprinkle with fruit fresh. Set aside. Mix brown sugar, flour & cinnamon together. Add to apples & toss. Spray pie pan with non-stick cooking spray. Press one crust into pan. Add filling. Take the second crust & lay over filling. Be sure to press it down well so it won't puff up when baking. Pinch edges together. Cut steam vents. Brush with water & sprinkle with brown sugar. Add cinnamon also, if desired. Bake at 425º for 20 minutes; reduce to 400º and bake another 30 minutes or until browned.
