My Goose is Cooked


3 cups mashed potatoes
3 cups ground beef, cooked
1 tbsp. butter
1 cup onion, chopped
cup celery, chopped
cup carrots, chopped
1 tbsp. flour
tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
1 cup or more soup stock
tsp. marjoram
tsp. dill weed
tsp. ground oregano
tsp. thyme
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. steak sauce
salt and pepper. to taste

Prepare mashed potatoes. In saucepan melt butter and saute onions, celery and carrots. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper, add the soup stock. Add ground beef. Stir in the spices, worcestershire sauce, HP steak sauce and salt and pepper. Pour the meat mixture into a 2 quart buttered shallow casserole dish. Spread the mashed potatoes on top. Bake 350F for 45 minutes. 6 servings.
