Hot Fudge Sauce

1 devil's food cake mix (oil & eggs)
½ gal. vanilla ice cream in a box
small jar of Maraschino cherries

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with non-stick spray.

In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix along with the required contents as instructed on the box (i.e. water, eggs, and oil). Pour in the prepared casserole dish and bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick can be inserted in the middle of the cake and comes out clean. Once finished, turn to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.

Use a serrated knife and slice the cake in half. Place the bottom half of the cake back into the casserole/cake dish.


Open up carton of ice cream. Slice into 1 " pieces and place on bottom half of the cake. Place the top of the cake on top of the ice cream.

Cut into desired square pieces and place on serving plate. Pour hot fudge sauce on each serving. Top with a cherry & enjoy!

12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 boxes powdered sugar

Mix ingredients, stirring well & heat until melted & smooth.
