1 c. Self-Rising cornmeal
1 c. whole milk
1 c. onion, chopped
1 can cream style corn
2 eggs
c. oil
chopped jalapenos
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornmeal with milk. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.

If using an iron skillet, heat a small amount of oil and then sprinkle with dry cornmeal. Pour batter in and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

If using a regular 13 x 9 pan, coat with non-cooking spray. Pour batter in and bake.


Option: You can also add browned ground meat.
