4 egg whites
1 pinch of salt or 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
a few drops of vanilla/vanilla sugar

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 225
beat egg whites with salt or cream of tartar, until stiff
gradually add in the sugar, 1 teaspoon at a time, until shiny
add in vanilla
spoon or pipe onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
use a bit of meringue to stick parchment paper to baking sheet
Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and let dry in oven for 3 hours- up till overnight
You can paint your piping bag with food coloring to make swirl meringues

Used wilton tip 21 to make small ones
